The quality of stone are not that good, they're combination of chips and small stone and well obviously are dyed and waxed coated. For its QVC selling price it is expensive compared to its quality. The length is perfect for me and what I love and what makes me keep this is the Pop of color it gives to my casual wardrobe.

Beautiful blue green turquoise color and BB's signature Sterling end caps! I'm wearing this torsade attached to one of my two 7 1/4" BB Signature textured link bracelets - SUPPER STUNNING!!!
I wear the torsade attached to the bracelet back of my neck, so one side has the bracelet flowing down, and then the other two thirds of the 25" necklace is the 5 strand THICK turquoise torsade! Just love it!
Goes perfect with the new BB teal Pebble Leather Bracelet, which has shinny spots and glimmers like the necklace. Looks great with the new Garuda ring - YUM!
I also do the same with the BB Onyx Torsade, and it looks great with the new BB black bracelet .
As to the negative reviews - you're right, this is not CP American Gem quality turquoise, as some of the turquoise beads are flat - but certainly not sharp. Most of the beads are "baroque" and vary in size. But this is a torsade, like a huge garden of the same bright color flowers!
The effect is BEAUTIFUL; the turquoise color and the shine of the beads are magic! And the BB sterling oxidized end caps are the usual stunning sparkle, and flow this torsade right into the link bracelet!
I imagine some ladies do like a choker necklace, but not me, so you do that option.
The BB torsades are ridiculously short, but attached to the BB Signature textured bracelet - WOW! The asymmetrical look is gorgeous and edgy!

Really a very bad value. The turquoise is tiny tiny tiny. Honestly, you can get some similar strands and a silver toggle clasp at any bead store and make your own for $40 max. The necklace is NOT worth the price, even at clearance. Sorry Barbara Bixby - I love you but this was not a good idea. It was sent back.

I I wear this with the eastern bracelet on the back of it and make it more of a choker.
I get lots of compliments on this piece.
I love all her work I have many others pieces. I have to save up for more

Poor quality stones - dull, jagged, strung too tightly - I was expecting bright colors, polished/ nicely cut stones - on par with the carnelian and garnet torsades I have from Barbara Bixby to use on the $500 silver necklace these go with from her which I LOVE. What happened Barbara??? I can't believe she saw this piece and would allow her name to be connected with it. This is one of two pieces that I sent back the same day that it arrived. Do not waste your time or money on this piece.

I have been waiting for the strand for so log, that when I received it was a HUGE disappointment, the color is horrible, the quality is not there. Now I cant wait to send it back. and it looks very cheap

I am an avid Bixby collecctor but this piece fell short in so many ways. The bits of turquoise were crudely cut and there were several jagged pieces, some with holes. No uniformity in color or size of the turquoise. The coloration of the turquoise stones was poor. The piece was of interior quality and not of the usual standards I have come to expect from this line.

I like this one because it does work with Bixby jewels, and many other ehancers or pendants I own, and can support different styles of jewelry. My indian / southwest jewelry looks great on this torsade. The biggest plus for me is the variation of the Turquaoise colors! Why? I have several pieces of Turquoise jewelry that are different shades, from greens through the blue tones, and this goes with it all. It acts a blending element so I can wear pieces together, that in the past I would not have combined.
