Barbara Bixby Sterling & 18K Multi-Gemstone Dragonfly Enhancer is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work Of Art As usual, I am surprised by the uniqueness and ideas that Barbara comes up with from usual objects, like an insect or snake. Always beautiful. This piece is exceptional. I can only speak for the citrine, but I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely I have lots of jewelry & many Bixby pieces, but love this one. It is not as elaborate as the keys I have, but striking. I have the citrine. This is one of the few pieces that my husband commented on when I wore it. He loved it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not substantial Very lightweight and underwhelming. In fact, it's flimsy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Citrine I love the one I received. The citrine has a deep golden hue, the flower at the top is white topaz which was a pleasant surprise. The gold leaves, vines and silver work are all detailed and well done. Very pleased with my light and airy dragonfly. Hope to see nor citrine from Barbara...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dragonfly lover, but not real happy here! I have two other dragonfly enhancers made by Barbara Bixby and would not think of parting with either one. I was excited to get these two new ones to add to my collection. The blue topaz was an extreme disappointment. Beyond being clean and shiny, it just looked cheap to me and had no oxidation. This is not a substantial piece and I could not send the blue topaz back to the Q fast enough. The citrine version I do like a lot better and will keep that one. I think the gold leaves really add to this piece. It does remind me a lot of the Bee enhancer that Barbara did quite a few years ago. I have to state that I am NOT happy with the generic Q boxes that Barbara Bixby pieces are now being shipped in by QVC. The prices of her jewelry keep getting jacked up yet QVC continues to cut corners on the Bixby experience for the customers. Earth to Q...... take away the EXPERIENCE that Barbara Bixby jewelry is suppose to satisfy and you won't have any Bixby customers left to purchase anything ...... end of story. Think about it ! I am so ready to take my hundreds (thousands ) of dollars of purchasing power and go someplace else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Barbara at her best... Pretty design but a little conventional/expected. There are definitely some cut corners here. The gold leaves aren't convex like her earlier or higher/priced pieces but rather slightly concave. This takes away from the lushness that Barbara's pieces (at least her older ones) have. I had to ask myself, "If I were to see this at a jewelry store for $200 would I buy it?" The answer is "no" so I am returning this. I have a number of Bixby couture pieces so maybe I am spoiled...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mediocre at Best My review reflects on the item and the overall shopping experience. I ordered this in both colors. The citrine version is nice, but seems cheaply done. It's hard to put my finger on it. Something with the way the gold leaves are done and the metal on the wings. That said, I like it well enough to keep it. The blue topaz version was a big disappointment. It seems almost generic in its design. The worst aspect was the fact that the amethyst cabochon was heavily included, with what appeared to be 2 different cracks that ran completely across the stone. This one I returned and won't bother trying to exchange. In addition, both arrived in a plain old QVC box rather than Barbara Bixby packaging. I'd like to make note that both dragonflies sat for days at the "Partner Shipping Facility" with no movement, and took a very long time to arrive.
