Like the Bag but...
the jury is still out. I'm still debating if I will return. I like (not love) the bag especially that it's a bigger size clutch. I was going to wear it to a retirement party. However, when I went to a store nearby where I work looking for shoes for the party, I saw this same bag style at a discounted price. I thought that when I got it as a lunchtime special from the Q that I got a great deal on the price but little did I know I could have just picked it up at a local store rather than have one mailed from QVC. I was so disappointed because I like owning things that I don't see coming and going. I wish that Bruce would bring more exclusive bags to the Q and clearly advertise them as such.

The Perfect Little Black Bag!
Just received my bag in black and it's just wonderful. I love the way the strap snaps off, leaving no rings, and turns into a clutch. The size is great, can fit enough when going out on a date, rather than something small that barely holds a coin purse! Thanks, Bruce, for the best little bag ever. (I'm thinking about getting it in vanilla!!!!)

Gorgeous, a really fantastic bag!!!
I am somewhat surprised, I didn't have very high hopes when I ordered this bag, but decided to take a chance because of the clearance price. First off, it looks WAY WAY better in real life, although it was cute on TV. I have been looking for a more "dressy" bag that I could wear out to dinner, to the theater etc....this bag totally fits the bill. I was afraid the chain would look cheesy, to my surprise it is really well done and looks nice and substantial without weighing the bag down. I love that the strap can be removed, so for cocktail occasions or out with the girls it is a great clutch. Can be dressed way up, or worn with jeans - great versatility. Love the light lining. Very, very pleased with this bag! Looking forward to much use!!!

Finally
I've been looking a long time for a black leather bag that I can use for dressy, but not truly formal, occasions. I have enough formal, small bags that don't hold enough. I also needed a bag with silver-toned hardware, as I wear only white gold, silver, etc. jewelry. Most black bags have gold hardware! When I saw this bag I jumped at it. It's a perfect size. I can easily fit a small wallet, a small camera, glasses, brush. some makeup, tissues, and much more. The strap is great--comfortable and substantial while looking very tailored. This bag isn't going out of style anytime soon.

Simply Perfect!!
This purse is so stylish and I purchased it in black. I can use this purse for evenings out (dressy) or when I'm out and about in jeans. I love the style. I love the fact that the strap is optional and can be taken off of the purse. I love the strap (portion is leather and a portion is silver chain). This purse is made to perfection. The interior is perfect and I just love everything about this purse. The style is simple and that makes it simply perfect.

MY FIRST MAKOWSKY BAG AND IT FITS THE BILL...
...I WAS IN NEED OF A BAG THIS SIZE and I love it in the Lipstick Red with its leather and chain strap, plus the excellent leather. I find the many features are fabulous: wear with strap for over the shoulder or across the body - check; removable strap to convert to clutch - check; a chic bag to wear dress-up or dress-down - check; handy back and front super-slip pockets - check; and the tenacious turn-lock closure - check; strong perpetual polyester lining - check; a capital center-zip compartment with additional inner zip pocket - check; and supple 100% leather - double-check! My conclusion is that I am totally impressed, and will be going back for an additional color… out-of-the ordinary hue of the purple or vanilla. Bruce -- you have rung my bells for a taste of one of your (& Kathy’s) bags that is a hit-winner in all ways, and definitely -- I will not be sending it back. And as Bruce writes: “My handbags are luxury basics. They’ll look good today — and three years from today.” I ditto the latter for this all-around fantastic design and features in a Makowsky bag. I encourage other Qer’s to give this bag their full attention.
