BEAUTIFUL!!
Have these loafers in camel and blue (blue is really GORGEOUS)!! They remind me of my high school days. They fit well and are really comfortable. Love, love, love the patent leather. One request---PLEASE, PLEASE bring back the BLACK patent leather. I must have them!

Great loafers!
These patent penney loafers are exceptional. Penney loafers are my favorite fall and winter casual shoe since high school, which was many years ago! My problem has been that for the past several years any that I find are rather clunky feeling when I walk in them, really stiff. When I saw these on line I loved the look, the patent leather was the perfect touch. I knew that BM leather is soft, and I hoped that they would be comfortable like the four pairs of his shoes that I currently have. I have found that in his shoes I have needed to go up a half size
so that's what I did and these run longer than his other shoes. So I had to reorder a smaller size. The sad part is, they are sold out in all but the camel and I really wanted the black, maybe they'll be back in my size, but I think the camel will be great too. Even though the size was too long, the width was perfect and as I wore then around my bedroom, I knew they would be just what I wanted in a penney loafer, not at all clunky feeling or too stiff, and the real patent leather adds a dressier look, it will be great with slacks or jeans. I hope they come back in my size, and I'll order all of the colors, since penney loafers are always a traditional style, I'd be set for a couple of years. If your size is available, I'd highly recommend. Order your true size, these fit about a half size longer than any of his other shoes.

I dont know but these were not for me. The style was ok..seemed a little stiff and not the best value. I thought it was too much to spend for something you didnt love.

Trip Down Memory Lane
I just happened to stumble across these shoes while cruising absent-mindedly through some products. I stopped dead in my tracks, instantly taken back to my high school days when I saw these.
These shoes are a VERY upscale version of what I wore to high school every day, but they sure weren't made of patent leather back then. They looked every bit as good when they arrived as they did on-line. I love patent leather, but good patent is very hard to come by. The overall quality is very evident and they felt fairly comfortable when I put them on for the first time. The camel I bought will go with so many things I wear. I find it interesting that the patent wrinkles as you walk or move your foot around inside the shoe then returns to its normal state when you take them off. They just look flat classy!
I read a review by another customer who regretted the pre-inserted triangle. Remembering putting that shiny, new penny in a new pair of loafers drifted through my mind. I, too, would have liked to have repeated that little ceremony from so many years ago; but it didn't stop me from buying the shoes.
Am anxious to get them broken in and wearing them as an alternative to plain old flats. They are snug fitting across the vamp; but patent is known to stretch well where needed.
I would have ordered the blue, but the Easy Pay had dried up by the time I received these; and these aren't inexpensive shoes for a retired lady who used to think nothing of paying much more for just one pair of shoes.

Just Gorgeous!!!
I am a shoe freak. I love this shoe company. This is my first time buying from this company. I ordered two pair of shoes and they are lovely. Made well and rich looking. I will certainly buy more.. The color was much more beautiful in person. The patent leather is gorgeous. I can't wait to wear them.

Pizazz to the classic penny loafer
cute shoes- took my regular size- a little stiff when you first get them, but walk in them a bit and they start to soften . Love the shiney patent leather and the colors are great contrast to basic pair of boyfriend jeans, or narrow leg pants. Takes a basic pair of penny loafer and kicks them up a notch!

Great Shoes
I bought these in blue! Very fun and expensive looking. I was very pleased with the quality. I usually wear 81/2 or 9. The 8 1/2 was slightly big. Don't order up!

bottoms not good
I just got these loafers, they look real pretty the high shine, from all the reviews on here mine must be defective, I put them on an walked threw the house with them on before I go outside in any shoe, I almost fell, the bottoms look like they got something on bottom to keep it from slipping but it does not work on the ones I got, this is not good, so I am not paying to have soles put on them at the price they are, I will be sending them back cause this shoe is defective, they do run a half size too big also but I could have worn socks with them I guess if I could have stood up in them, at the price they should have had a real good bottom, that is unless mine was defective. did anyone else have this problem with their shoes? that is why I gave it just two stars, other than the bottoms being slick, they are, real pretty shoes.

Fell in love with the high shine!
Greatest looking shoe ever! Substantial, not flimsy at all. Inside of black shoe is bright red as is the shoe bottom; just something extra that's extra sharp & not worried to take these off anywhere. :0

Gorgeous, but..................
These are beautiful, well made, quality shoes. True to size, but a bit stiff and need some break in time. What I can't get over is how no one has mentioned that they look very high end but that there is a very tacky gold painted slot where the penny would go. I think it detracts from the total look and personally, would have preferred if it had not been painted gold. It cheapens the look of the shoe and detracts from the overall wonderful quality. That is the reason I give it four stars. I bought in every color, and they are all wonderful, but the same complaint for each, the tacky gold paint in the slot.

Stunning shoe!
OMG....these are gorgeous! I could not believe my eyes when I took them out of the box. I bought my usual size 8.5 in the black and they fit perfect and WOW are they comfortable. I can't find enough wonderful things to say about these B. Mak shoes. The black shoes have a red interior and red soles(which is soooo cool...I hated to go outside for the first time know to mark up the soles). The quality of the patent leather is exactly what you would expect from a high end designer shoe...exceptional!!! I pre-planned my work outfit today just so I could wear them. I have to mention, I am generally not a loafer kind of girl but I just knew from the reviews and the video that I had to have these. I only wish ALL of Bruce's shoes fit like these do. I will definitely be ordering the tan pair.....LOVE THEM-Thanks Bruce!!!
