Rated 4 out of 5 by KatyB Love but want thicker strap
All the reviews on this bag were pretty dismal but I have to disagree. I got the very pretty purple/pink combo and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the colors looked. Now, the hardware on this bag is not as heavy duty as other B's and the magnet may not be as strong but that is not a deal breaker for me. I have one B bag that I love but it is so heavy on it's own that I rarely carry it. I do wish the strap on this B was thicker. All the pockets on this bag are fantastic and the bag hugs your body nicely and it soft.
I have not had any issues with the color rubbing off on clothing or the buckle coming undone when set down. The leather is more of a suede feeling leather.
Rated 2 out of 5 by jrjones1 The first "B. Mak" I wouldn't give 5-stars to ...
**I never thought that I would be writing a review where I would *not* be giving a B. Makowsky handbag a 5-star rating. I have 14 others that I really like, plus seeing countless others in stores.
**However, with that being said, I found that this bag was dismal and just plain "Blah." The color that I purchased was the pink/purple and the colors were disappointing. Unlike other handbag brands that have different colors in their bags, this bag's colors is bland and doesn't segue well. The whole style of the bag seems bland and doesn't have any "zing" to it. If I could get a tassel for it, maybe that would help to 'freshen' it up and give it life.
**The bag has no shape to it - now I know that this is not in any way a 'structured' bag, but it just 'flops'. The silver hardware isn't up to par either, and when you set the bag down, the strap comes out of the buckle or at least loosens up. The buckle may be just too light- weight.
**I wish I would have sent it back but I thought that it would 'grow' on me. I change my bags each day depending on what I wear so I do use it occasionally. If I had less bags, I would probably use it more.

I like the design of this bag. BUT, The color rubbed off on my clothes! It ruined a white top I was wearing before I realized what was happening. I not only had to replace my top but had to pay to send it back!!
Going back to Tig bags. Good quality for a much more affordable price.

This purse has no structure and flops over and puddles. Wish B Mak would make more bags that had structure and stood up when set down. So frustrating because I like the design and I was looking for a lightweight, classy crossbody shoulder bag. It would be nice if the presentation on these types of bags were more realistic and the bags were not stuffed with tissue paper to make them look like they hold their shape. Now I have to pay the shipping and handling to return.

When I saw this bag on TV,I loved the purple pink color & the size looked perfect. The quality of the bag is just not there for the money. Strap is very narrow & was concerned that the edges would fray over time. The color, look & feel of the leather was disappointing.

I agree with the other review. The quality is so not there. The size of the bag looks ridiculous compared to the skinny strap, it's like they have added the wrong strap to this unfortunate bag. I remember hearing there is some connection to B Makowsky and Tig bags, if that is correct, it explains a lot. When will designers realize their name is not enough to carry them if the quality is no longer there? There are so many other designers out there for us to choose from. I just hope Bruce never takes the Tig plastic direction. The 'hosts' don't help either. they're too busy 'gushing' over everything they're presenting. Shipping is too expensive for us to not have accurate details. I gave this one star because if you don't give any stars, you can't leave a comment.

I am a HUGE BMAK fan..... but this just missed the mark. The feel and the quality just isn't there. I couldn't justify the cost vs the poor quality so it's already on its way back..
