Beautiful and Unique Bag
I purchased this bag in white and I just love it. It's a nice medium size
to hold all my things without everything getting lost on the bottom.
The leather is so soft. The silvertone details are lovely.
The braided strap is so unique.
Overall, it's a great bag. I'm soooo happy I purchased it!

Disheartened
Never in my 40-something years have I ever paid more than $50.00 for a handbag [which still look gorgeous even when I tire of them], because I don't think it's necessary, and "labels" don't mean anything to me. I had been searching for a taupe bag well over a year. I took the huge plunge and received this bag in August 2012. Perfect taupe color. My happiness ends there. Keeping in mind the above, I treat this bag as if it were my infant. I truly believe "BMak" would be embarrassed to see my bag today, which is truly falling apart at the seams. Never again will I give any of his overpriced items, even a second glance.

on the heavy side
I have this bag and I do love it the only thing is it is heavy...The metal attachments that are on the bag are very heavy so unusual to me. Other wise the bag is very nice!

Disappointed
The quality was not like the other B.Makowsky bags. The leather was cheap and the strap would squeak. The white picked up dirt easily and when I tried to clean it the leather was ruined. I paid full price and was very disappointed .

Favorite Purse
I have wanted a B. Makowsky bag for a long time. This bag has been in my wish list for a long time and finally one day I said I am going to get it. I just LOVE this bag. There is so much room in it and the quality of this bag is worth every cent. I can't wait to get my next bag.

I wanted to love this bag
I loved the design, and the many different pockets meant that the options for organization were outstanding. I ordered two-- one in Aruba Blue and one in Taupe. The differences between the two bags were surprising. The handles were quite different in length-- the handle on the blue bag was a good two inches shorter than the one on the taupe bag. The blue handle was also woven very, very tightly-- so much so that it actually squeaked quite loudly (it was as irritating as fingernails on a chalkboard). To make matters worse, the blue bag had obviously been used and abused and then returned, as the handle in particular was badly scuffed all around when it arrived. It was a shame, as the color was absolutely gorgeous. The handle on the taupe bag was relaxed and comfortable and didn't make any noises at all, but the pockets on the ends had been sewn on in a clearly lopsided manner-- the zippers stopped in noticeably different places. In addition, the left of the two knotted straps on the front was really badly and unevenly sewn. Due to the flaws I would consider both of them "second" quality, at best. They had to go back. It's a shame-- had both been well constructed (and the blue one clearly not damaged and then returned), I would have loved and treasured them. If you receive such a bag, I envy you!

The best handbag I have EVER owned.
I am VERY picky when it comes to handbags. This one meets all of my handbag requirements: single handle, multiple pockets and compartments, zippered middle, magnet closure,. It then goes above and beyond. It is the perfect size, with a very cool braided strap. The silver embellishments are just enough to make it interesting without it being to "blingy". If I could design my perfect bag, this is what it would look like.

I AM A BIG BAG GIRL......BUT
Even though I am a 'big bag girl,' I decided to purchase this smaller BMac bag in jade green, because it was a color I figured I would not use that often. I have never seen a smaller bag so well organized! Pockets everywhere, but in a very stylish manner! Even a space behind the belt in front! I can get so much of my 'stuff' in this smaller bag and not stress my back as I usually do with my big bags. Love the fancy handle and very soft leather. Came back & purchased the aruba blue! Love, love, love this incredibly well-constructed bag, obviously done by an engineer!

Unsure if I'll keep it...
I opened up the packing carton and the aroma of the leather had me under a spell. I quickly removed the bag from it's package and tieeue paper. I told myself that it was substantial and I was beginning to love this bag. I don't think it is heavy, personally. But, upon closer inspection, the leather that was tied into a knot (in the front) looked wrinkled and there was some parts on the back of the bag that looked like the color was rubbing off. Other than that, I love everything else about this bag and wanted the other colors, too. I'll decide in a couple of days if I'll keep this bag - so disappointing, etc.

Bad design
Loved this purse but the shoulder strap is very uncomfortable. It is round so digs in an does not fit well at all so had to send back :-(

Not a good choice
The longer I carry this extremely heavy bag, the more I dislike. Don't buy this if you want a lightweight bag. It also falls open and items fall out. Have owned it too long to return. It is by far the worst purchase made at Qvc. Not blaming Qvc, just the manufacturer. Will never purchase another B. Makowsky bag.
