amazing little bag
I love this bag. Roomy enough for all my things and so stylish. I love the security of a crossbody bag and this one is just gorgeous. Soooo Soft!

Roomy and perfect size with soft leather!
I bought the pewter color and it looks better in person than on the video. My Sak wallet, which is quite large, fits perfectly. Plenty of compartments and I love the way it hangs in the front of my body, long and lean. Might go back and buy the gold color.

I want to love it, but can't
I WANT to love this bag, I really do...it's SO pretty, the leather is SO soft, the color is gorgeous (brandy-colored)...the inside zip pocket is on the same size as the little slide pockets (that's a no-no), the open slit pocket on the back outside is useless because it's so tiny, the zip pocket on the front isn't big enough to hold anything. I actually had to buy a smaller wallet to fit everything IN the bag in order to use it. It's just not big enough because of all the wasted space it has.

Have you ever seen how some bags emulate class and have that classy price as well? You never have to be concerned with B Makowsky bags in any shape or size. He always renders the best quality, hardware, and represents a wonderful sense of style.
I personally own over 20 of his bags and as a pocketbook junkie, I can recommend all his bags with great confidence. This crossbody sits well , is comfortable, and again looks great! Bravo for another fine and class bag from B. Makowsky.

PERFECT SIZE and DESIGN FOR A TWELVE-YEAR OLD...
...ESPECIALLY WITH THE ADJUSTABLE STRAP...AND PERFECT TO HER LIKING IN THE ‘GOLD’... from Makowsky's 'Evanston' collection... and believe it or not my young twelve-year old niece's name is 'Evan'! My selection of the Crossbody has been the perfect size that holds all items Evan carries with her in the ‘big girls’ world’. The supple leather, the ease and versatility of cross-body/shoulder, light in weight, inside room-- lining--and-organized pockets (Evan especially loves the cell-phone pocket), and the easy entry with the magnetic closure. Evan knows from Aunt’s advisory to hold it close to her body in a crowd for security. Maybe Aunt has convinced herself that she should have one of the B. Makowsky Glove Leather Crossbody… and MANY other nieces may come ashore with a wish from their Aunt! Anyway, Bruce, Evan has informed me to give ‘her gold bag’ a ten-star rating! :-) P.S. Just So, So
Tried so hard to love this bag, but the little zippered front pocket is useless!!! Loved the pewter color and the oh so soft leather, but the bag is like a big black hole. Everything went to the bottom and was difficult to find. Also......the newer, larger cell phone pockets are just nottttttt quite large enough. If you have an iPhone that has one of the silicone covers, then the little pocket is just not quite big enough. Plus the lining comes out every time you pull the phone out. Just not what I had hoped for. Afraid it had to go back.

Classic in black
I purchased this bag four months ago in black and I have been very happy with it. I was looking for a black crossbody with gold hardware and I couldn't have asked for a classier looking bag! I didn't have the color transfer problems that others have mentioned in their reviews. I would have loved to order another one as a gift for my friend, who is always petting my bag when she sees it :):):) but I guess I'm not the only one who loved this bag as only the two metallic options remain.

almost perfect!
great crossbody to fit your essential needs. I love how it feels, it's lightweight,and i love the signature cell phone pocket. I do have some recommendations that would make this bag perfect: wish it had a zip top closure instead of the magnetic closure for added security. I also wish it came with a care card. I learned the hard way that due to the nature of how this leather is treated, it would have been helpful to know that you should avoid use of leather cleaner,including leather wipes. The color of my pewter bag chipped off after owning this bag for only a little over a month. However, i am going to continue using this bag. I have several young kids and i love how i can carry the minimal while on the go but this bag can expand to accomodate a little extra if needed.

so so soft perfect
i love the color purple in this bag and the leather is so so soft the best i have ever had.it is small but long and many things fit and the front zipper pocket is as big as having another purse that fits so so many things it was my first bruse bag and the best leather i have ever felt.the price was also great i wanted to buy morecolors but they are all sold out i hope more come in,and remember to please make more and more colorS please please mr B MAKE MORE COLORSI

OMG ,ONE OF MY BEST PURCHASES EVER
This bag i just recieved in the pewter is the softest leather ever, plus you can carry more than you think .And i love the smell of the leather.The outside zipper pocket is very large and deep for the size of the bag.
Has to be one of my favorite as i i have several.
