Authentic Gourmet 26 French Made Butter Croissants
croissants the best.
Got them today love love love it ordering more soon THANK YOU QVC.
I purchased these last year and yes the last time they flatten out on me and I gave them another try and purchased another box of them last month. I spoke to customer service regarding these flattening out on me and she said she kept them in the oven 15-25 minutes more than it says on the box and they came out great. Well I took her advice and I ended up keeping them 25 minutes more they did not burn either. They came out great and did not Flatten. Please give these croissants another try you wont be sorry.
Although they smelled wonderful and looked great while in the oven, once they were removed, they collapsed like pancakes. Centers were soggy and could not serve them. Never again, a waste of money. I wish I could rate less than one star.
I've ordered these many times. As good as the ones we ate in France. But I see you raised the PRICE ! They use to be $41. NOW $48, too expensive for my Budget. I use to send them as Gifts, no more.
My first shipment arrived approximately one month after the order was placed and was not able to use the "French Butter Croissants" for the event they were purchased. They arrived intact without directions in a blue bag. Once baked, the inside was a bit gummy. The flavor was good. However, after reading the reviews and based and upon my own encounter with QVC, I will not be reordering the "French Butter Croissants"..
Have ordered these several times and am disappointed with these. Many were broken and not as tasty as in the past. Arrived in a cheap blue plastic bag. Will not order again. Too bad.
These are by far the best Croissants I have ever had. They are light and buttery. Mine came in a blue bag as well. I didn't notice any change. They are simply delicious. Looking forward to my next shipment.
I just received my first shipment of these butter croissants. I purchased the OTO deal which came with the beignets. The beignets were nothing to write home about but the croissants are delicious! I made them this morning and after my husband ate two he came back in the kitchen saying "I'd love about seven more of those!"
The recent reviews about packaging and smaller sizing are a concern but this is my first time so I've nothing else to compare these to. QVC needs to be mindful of the QUALITY in their products, there are many of us who have been shopping for years (about 25 years for me) and I rely on their quality control and bang for the buck. Glad I ordered these on AD.
I've been receiving these croissants for almost 2 years now via the auto-ship plan. Like the others, I agree that the quality has slipped since this product was originally featured. They seem to be getting smaller and smaller and many pieces are broken upon receipt. When I have family visiting, they always look forward to breakfast and croissants. This past Thanksgiving, everyone noticed the smaller size and we discussed how like many successful food items, once the item really takes off the company starts sacrificing size and packaging as the demand grows. They need to go back to the original sizing I fell in love with or reduce the price commensurate with the reduced size of the product.
I shipped these out as gifts to two friends of mine. Well, I've never received such rave reviews about a gift before!! I was told that they were "simply amazing and absolutely delicious". Funny thing is, I've never tried them! :) The fact they are a customer favorite convinced me to order them. Thanks QVC for bringing a really wonderful food product to us!!
agree that there's been a change
they are now arriving in a blue plastic bag with a few of them broken. they also have a very yellow color from the butter? as you take them from the bag and almost a rancid smell. they do not taste anywhere near the same from last year's orders. very dissappointed and will not be ordering again.
Something has changed....
I have been purchasing the "regular" butter croissants and these "French butter" croissants are definitely a change for the worse. They arrived poorly packaged, in a blue cheap bag, and some were broken. I followed the directions to a tee and once out of the oven they all fell! It was terrible as I was serving them for a brunch. The flavor is not as rich. A major disappointed. I've canceled my "regular" order of the original butter croissants. The William Sonoma ones are a little more pricey, but definitely reliable in how they cook.
