Rated 5 out of 5 by Just Right My family loves these. Super easy to bake and absolutely delicious. They're great with dinner, and perfect in the morning with butter and jam. I have them on auto-delivery now to make sure we never run out. 03-03-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good, but nothing out of the ordinary These are good mini croissants. They bake up nicely - I use a silpat on a cookie sheet, 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. Honestly though, the ones they sell in my local grocer are comparable in taste and texture - I would have to do check the price at the store and do some math to see which is the better cost value. It's nice to have them fresh and hot out of the oven though. I ordered the 80 count, and they came in two large bags. The packaging definitely could use some improvement - I ended up dividing them up into groups of 6 and packaging them in my sealer in individual bags. If you aren't going to be using them quickly, then I recommend repackaging them for freshness. To the Authentic Gourmet people: please put these in a resealable bag!!! 11-23-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love them I eat one or two every morning with a cup of coffee. They are just the right size. I put them in my Wolfgang pressure cook oven and they come out perfect every time. 05-07-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by No problem here These came in 2 nice little bags, and only a few were stuck together. These are great in that I can cook them in my toaster oven, and cook more than 3 at a time (which is all could fit with the regular size croissants). These are great with any jam you like-I am currently addicted to the Vermont Country Store brands. I also love a light butter spread with these. For lunch, a little salad, some seltzer, and I'm happy! 03-27-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by French Croissants! These are delicious and perfectly French...as advertised, made in France. Many croissants taste like buns but these are drenched in butter and very tasty! Just came back from Paris and these are the real deal! Mine came in 2 separate bags but they were not clumped together. Every morning I bake the perfect amount and have my coffee...I feel as if I'm in a bistro near the Seine! 02-04-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by I keep coming back--the best recommendation. These are so yummy and handy! I like the small ones because they are better for portion control. I follow the cooking directions EXCEPT I shut off the oven after the prescribed time and leave them in the oven for an additional 5 minutes (door closed). This makes them crispy and flakey. When demonstrated by QVC, their opinion appears to be, as they stretch out the croissant, that this method is best. Not for me. I cooked them that way the first time and they were not flakey. All commercial croissants (restaurants and small bakeries) where I have purchased croissants were flakey. I am NOT talking about what grocery stores call croissants which should be labeled crescent rolls. Even a local large grocery, part of state-wide grocery chain, carries (on occasion) frozen, partially baked heat and serve yummy flakey croissants (full sized). 12-22-14
Rated 1 out of 5 by No longer worthwhile After not having them for a while I thought I'd treat myself to a new batch. What a waste of money. These used to be individually frozen so there was no problem taking out the amount you wanted. Now they thrown into a bag while obviously still raw and then vacuum sealed. So you have a nice big frozen blob of croissant dough to deal with. Everything is stuck together. Trying to to break them apart just breaks them into smaller pieces. Ridiculous! 08-08-14
