AWFUL! Ruined the ring with glass over the Opal. What a waist of real gems by topping it with GLASS! Makes me wonder if the rest of the gem quality is LOW END too! Do not waste your money.. What was she thinking in this design..

Very beautiful ring wore it to work it got attention but put it on last Sunday three days later and a stone is missing has to go back and I really like it but if it continues to loose the topaz that's not good

I was pleasantly surprised (after reading past reviews), granted the ring is a dark color but for the price and design, is worth the purchase. My son is an October baby so, I like opals (with color) and this was a given. The fit is great and makes for a comfortable ring and the opal does have sparkle within plus, I love London Blue Topaz. I will enjoy wearing this unique ring. Thanks!

I received my Australian Opal Triplet & Blue Topaz sterling Halo ring today and I ordered a size 5. The fit is perfect. I love the look of the shinny Opal and the Blue topaz boader. The Blue Topaz stones are not set flat - some of them are tilted and raised up; but you need the eye loop to really see them. The ring is nicely done and I'm happy to have it at a discount price. Good savings of this ring.

The opal triplet is perfectly executed. The clear glass cabachon protects the fragile opal without diminishing its flash and fire; however, I would have preferred a crystal quartz cabachon instead of glass. The flaw is that it is impossible to tell the gemstones surrounding the center opal are blue topaz, even in bright sunlight. The black rhodium-plating is too heavily applied and completely obscures the identity of the gemstones. The ring is worth keeping for the center opal triplet and overall design aesthetic. I would recommend this ring to others only after disclosing the displeasing rhodium plating.

I have longed for an opal for a while now. And when this ring appeared on QVC, I was delighted because the opal also had blue topaz surrounding it. Beautiful!
Unfortunately, I'm not crazy about the ring. It's pretty enough, but it's kind of smallish. I guess when they show it on TV close-up and large, it can look different in real life. (You think I'd learn my lesson.) It doesn't make much of an impact because it's so small. Not that there's anything wrong with a dainty ring—it's just not for me. I already bought another, more impressive ring, so I'm returning this one.

The colors in this ring are spectacular. So bright they seem to "dance". It is so much prettier in person. I'm a happy camper.
Rated 2 out of 5 by ACCM Very disappointed
Unlike most other reviews, I felt the opal was great. It was the topaz that I found to be the problem. The color of the blue topaz just did not rhyme with the opal. They did not complement each other. Also, I felt the sizing to be a little off. I ordered my usual size and have been unable to get it totally on my finger. Tried my other QVC rings in the same size and had no problem so it is just this ring. I love the opal but just can't love the color of topaz they put with it. Another shade would have been a better complement.

I LOVE Australian Opal! This ring has a beautiful chunk of that glistening & pearlescent Opal and if that weren't enough, surrounded by sparkling deep blue blue topaz... Another favorite of mine. This ring is impressive & looks like a high end piece. Thinking OG getting another for my Niece. Bravo!

When I saw this on Rachel"s program, I thought it was stunning under the studio lights. When I received it at home, not so much. I really don't feel it's worth the price. I'm feeling skeptical as to the quality of the triplet. I have other opals and something doesn't feel right about this one. Like others have said, the topaz is nice but not worth keeping it for that. It's going back.

When I first took this ring out of the package, I admit I was a little disappointed. It felt very light and without much substance in the metalwork. I put it on and wore it for the day and I am a converted fan. The opal is beautiful, as well as the blue topaz. It is actually very comfortable because of the light weight. It goes perfectly with jeans which I wear most of the time. It does not catch on sweaters or knits. I think it is a little overpriced.
