Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Purchase I ordered this enhancer on our wedding anniversary in July. Was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. The opal is very beautiful. It has all the colors of the ocean. Wish the bale was slightly bigger so it would fit on an omega necklace that I have. Love the free form design. Hope that QVC will present more Australian opals in the future as they are my favorite gem stones ever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning peacock opal! This beautiful opal pendant is an opal-lover's dream. It is the color of a peacock's tail, hence the name. This color stone from Australia is very rare. The necklace would look great on a little black dress, or as a standout piece of jewelry on color-block dresses or a black ensemble. Set in 14k yellow gold, the color of the stone pops against the gold. Better yet, if you were lucky enough to get the matching ring, you have a beautiful set to wear anywhere. I love this pendant!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty opal, overpriced Pros: This is a larger size, gold work is well done. The pendant is an enhancer so it can be used on other necklaces easily. It shows off better on my gold snake chain than the insignificant one upon which it came. Cons: I feel this would be better in the ring. Hands move about and would show off the play of color in the stone much more effectively. Don't need another opal ring, however. In certain lights this pendant appears totally black.
