Very decent tablet!
It can stand a little more speed, but if you have a strong network and signal feeding it, it WILL run Netflix pretty flawless! If you have or purchase a mini hdmi to hdmi cable, it will play very well on a flat panel TV under 32 inches.
Believe it or not, shutting it off drains the battery faster than leaving it on and plugging it in every other day. If you live in Google and Gmail world like I do,
you will love this tablet !
You have access to Android market and your Google cloud. Native apps or ones you have purchased that don't require network feed constantly work very fast on this unit. If you have videos or music on the expandable sd card there is no lag at all.
I separately purchased a leather carrying case that had a usb mini-keyboard built in and it definitely improves the experience using it, turning it into a mini laptop and doesn't require the on-screen keyboard so much.
My only nagging negative is there isn't a Facebook app for this tablet's particular OS. I don't know if it's because the OS is so new or what. But you CAN access Facebook and Twitter through the regular browser so it's not a total bust. But I like the updates from Facebook that I get on my smartphone that would have been nice to get on this tablet when I'm NOT with my phone.
Overall, for an Android tablet it delivers decently and I really like it. Give it a tad more speed and it could easily compete with any iPad....

Not worth the price, buy a Nook
This tablet is very slow, and doesn't do too much. It is mostly used so I can check my face book while someone is on the computer or for the kids to play games. I had bought it hoping to put a few movies on it to occupy my son during a road trip, There was no way to possibly do that. I should have bought a Nook, or Kindle Fire instead. I still would rather have an IPad, and I should have saved the money.

So far so good!
I received my Archos tablet a little over a week ago and have been using it quite a bit since then. I haven't had any issues with the apps or anything major. It navigates the internet easily and it has the google bar so you can easily search for stuff online. I've downloaded the Netflix app (and a bunch more) since that's what I figured I'd be using the most. At first it has a little bit of a wobbly look but after a couple of seconds it fixes itself. Overall quality is good though.
I did a lot of research and decided to go with this one because it's an upgrade from the Froyo OS and that was ultimately what sold me. I was hesitant to buy at first because it doesn't specifically say it has a headphone jack, but it definitely does. My only complaint so far, and it could just be my router, but the wifi doesn't seem to be all that strong. It works pretty much just as fast as my 4g phone though, so unless you have a very fast Internet connection, don't expect to work as fas a computer. I haven't tried it at a public wi-fi place yet, so I don't know if that will make a difference.
So overall, I'm happy with my purchase thus far. It has a micro-sd car which was very important to me and it has good volume and resolution, and it's very user friendly. I haven't had any issues with downloading any apps or anything like that. I even downloaded the kindle app and download some free books, which I'm currently reading. The touchscreen is pretty responsive, but I'm still thinking about buying a pen just so I don't leave prints on it.
The only reasons it's a 4 and not a 5 are because it's a little slower than I expected and the camera is not very good quality at all. My phone definitely takes better pictures. I almost bought the Kindle fire until I started doign a little research and realized the Kindle Fire doesn't have a lot of the things this one has. Oh, and I think another thing that makes this one awesome is that it works with Google, so you have access to all the same apps as with a phone.
If you're hesitant, do some research, that really helped me decide on this one.

Does It All!!
I was skeptical but ordered one anyway, couldn't resist the price and value pay, also knew that if I didn't like it, I could return it with no questions asked. Well, it took a few minutes to figure it out, I am not technically inclined, but it didn't take me long to figure the basics out. So I guess that would be "user friendly", still learning about the apps, which there are alot of them, and most are free. I had to spend a few days in the hospital and I took this with me, instead of my laptop. I was really surprised that I was able to do everything on this small unit that I do on my laptop, even check my banking accounts and pay bills. Watched a netflix movie and chatted with friends. It also seems to have a long life battery. So I give it a thumbs up and recommend it to anyone that wants a tablet but can't afford the IPad or even if you can, this one is soooo good can't imagine anything the IPad can do that this Archos can't.

Will not work with Facebook app??
I have tried to download the Facebook app several times and it says it won't work with this tablet? That is main reason I got this. And for getting online. I like the tablet. It is made well and i like the screen. But unless Google can help me figure out how to load the app I am going to send this one back.
