Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slow When the doorbell is rung or even motion detected I would like the video to appear on my phone/tablet screen immediately. I don't like merely getting a notification that I have to find, open and then play the video. Someone can jump my gate in that time. I need to be able to respond immediately. Also, it occasionally doesn't record. I instead get a black screen. Definitely needs perfecting

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I was very excited to get this item. It came to me scratched and then the camera would not work properly. We decided the scratches wouldn't matter. I hired someone to come to my house and check my WiFi and it was working as it should. Problem was i didn't have fast enough WiFi. You need an upload speed of over 1 Mbps and that is not available at my location. it is over 2 Mbps for the motion sensor lights. It has been returned and i hope people read this and check the spreed of their WiFi before they purchase this and then have to pay a return postage fee.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unhappy Buyer I have had issues with the chime pro staying connected with my internet. I purchased a new modem/router that didn’t help. I had my internet provider relocate my modem/router within 10 feet of the chime pro and the video doorbell. My chime pro still doesn’t seem to have good connection. I will be looking into different security devices that might work better.

But I was basely happy untily 30 days ran out and I CAN NOT GET TO MY CAMERA BECAUSE THEY HAVE AN AD BECAUSE I HAVE NOT PAID 30 DOLLARS!!! IT IS USELESS UNLESS YOU PAY 3 DOLLARS A MONTH OR 30 DOLLARS A YEAR!!!! RING HAD CAPTURED MY CAMERA AND I CAN NOT SEE OUTSIDE!!!! SOTHE BOTTOM LINE YOU PAY OR YOU CAN NOT USE YOUR RING. THAT IN MY OPINION IS WRONG!!! I did not complain about the blackness, charging your camera every month, not 6 months as suggested, that it captures almost every vehicle going street even when set low, and that the back yard one can not be used because light now stays on permanently, loved before that, BUT WHEN YOU TAKE AWAY THE USE OF THE CAMERA BECAUSE I DID NOT SUBSCRIBE TO A SERVICE I DID NOT WANT, YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR. NO RECOMMENDATIONS HERE!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value for Ring product This is my 2nd Ring doorbell. I had one at the front door for almost a year now and it was connected to the home wi-fi directly. I've been very pleased overall. I bought this one with the Chime Pro to have a 2nd doorbell at the backdoor and getting the chime Pro at this price was an extremely good deal. setup for the new doorbell and adding the existing one to the chime network was very easy. I'm happy so far with how it is all working out. The only negatives I have noticed so far is that the new doorbell seems just a bit laggy at times. Also, be aware that there is a monthly cost (some savings if paying annually) to have your video recorded for each doorbell or other ring device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ring Doorbell 2 I am a senior and I was able to install. I watched U tube videos. I had to buy new transformer for $15. I am thrilled that for $100 a year they include professional monitoring. I am going to try that plan and if good cancel my alarm copy saving 32 a month. The basic plan is 30 a year. I think that is more than reasonable. You only need these plans to see saved video. You can still see live. I bought a second one for my son. Next I plan on buying the camera.
