Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Good! Good value for items included - if it worked. Ring will not connect 4 out of 5 times. When it finally does, the image on my iPhone is so blurry you just cant make anything out. Called support and they put me through the usual router speed tests/resets ect and no problems there. In fact, the door bell, and chime pro extender, and router are all within 13 feet of each other. Shouldn't be a problem at all. But, it still won't work! Very frustrated by spending so much time trying to get the stupid thing to work :( Sending the whole lot back!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unfortunatelyl not I have the first RING doorbell and I love it. I wanted this one for the longer battery life and easier access to the battery. It didn't work with my internet. The chime pro is supposed to make it better but the reality is, it actually cuts into it. When I had to check my internet speed, the numbers were too low and a RING rep said that the chime pro actually cuts the numbers in half. I pay too much for my DSL now, I'm not going to ask for more speed. I am staying with the original RING.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it but it has a few glitches For the most part I really do like. I have 3 ring 2 devices; 2 at my house and 1 at my mom's. I have an S8+ Galaxy and the picture quality is great. I get the motion detection at my Mom house, which I love but it's seconds behind and some time it's all blacked out. When I get the notification she is already in the house. If someone rings her bell I can answer from my house which is cool when her friend dropped by the other day. At my house I get notification of my side door but not my main door. I hit the motion notification and enable it and it goes back to disable. It's not until I click on the app and I can see all the activity on the main door. I am happy with my purchase. I read the T&C so I am aware it's not guaranteed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Piece of mind! As a single woman, I really needed to have my front door monitored. Right before I received the Ring, I mistakenly opened my door to a male stranger. This will never happen again. I had problems when I first installed, but I relocated my chime and voila, it works like a charm. I know immediately when UPS or mail packages come and bring them in pronto, thus no robbery. I had a pkg stolen a month ago. I adore this product. Just checked my battery life and it's good. The only thing I worry about is the summer temps here in Palm Springs area get up to 120 degrees, I hope it holds up to the extreme heat.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Battery And Install Hiccup The previous doorbell sat on a narrow strip next to the front door. The ring doorbell was not going to fit in the space and moving it and the wires was beyond my capabilities. I had to have an electrician put it in to the tune of $156.00. The documentation advises using the battery even if the doorbell is wired in. The battery took overnight to juice up. I was disturbed because the Qvc presentation said the doorbell could be installed and working within 30 minutes. This can’t be possible without the battery unless somebody received a battery already juiced up. Now that it is installed, it works very well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TOO MANY ISSUES CONS: My tech savvy husband wanted to TOSS this unit out the door. NOT ALL directions included in pkg. REALLY ?? Took MANY MANY HOURS to charge battery... HAS TO HAVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF "POWER" TO RUN THE UNIT... WASN'T MENTIONED DURING SHOW.... Just not a good product..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth The Price I bought this product, very easy to install. When it comes to working it won’t work. I get the chimes notification try opening the live view and it won’t work. The blue circle will just turn and it won’t open the video. I’ve tried it many times and all times it will do the same thing. I also called the customer service number before ordering it and asked if this will work all around the house? I was told it did, well it does not. I think it’s overpriced for what it does.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Misleading... I fell for the pitch and bought two of these. What they DON'T tell you is that the camera in the doorbell might not work if you have wifi interference in your home, which they cannot correct. I've spent hours on the phone with their tech support, replaced the Chime Pro (which did not extend the network as advertised) with a different network extender, and still the signal from the doorbell is poor. This is NOT a set-up and go product for me, and the promises made are not applicable to every home. So be forewarned that as good as this sounds, it might be good at all. I'm very disappointed.
