solves a problem
I don't like to apply full make-up when I'm not going to work. This product works for me because I spend lots of time in the sun. If you think the product is too thick I add a tiny drop of moisturizer or apply it with damp fingertips. It layers nicely if you want more coverage. And it does add a slight glow-not a shine-and I like that feature. The price point is great. BTW, my friend also purchased it and is also very pleased because she never wears foundation.

Not worth the price
There is an unpleasant odor that I find doesn't go away (other reviews say it goes away in 15-20 minutes) and it actually accentuates large pores instead of covering them up.
It is also more like makeup than a moisturizer.
Disappointed.

More Moisture, Please
I have been looking for a tinted moisturizer for some time with a decent SPF. We should never be out there without protecting our skin, especially the skin on our faces. I ordered the Light and the color matched well. The only concern that I had was in the application. I realize that the SPF ingredient makes it a bit tedious to apply. However, I expected more moisturizing benefits from Algenist. The next time I used a moisturizer first and then applied. Problem solved. (Moisturize before moisturizing.....and I don't have particularly dry skin) Perhaps Algenist can offer two formulas in the future: Light Moisture and Deep Moisture. Will be ordering again, though.

So much more!
This is my first product from this line and I love it. I have beautiful skin for my age of 59 because I have worked at it for over 35 years and have always felt full make-up made my skin look worse. I wanted MY skin to shine through but while appearing even in tone and fresh. And that's exactly what this product does for me. I adore that the sunscreen is built in. I could not be happier nor recommend this product more enthusiastically. Thanks for making makeup and skincare so easy.

Love This Night Serum
You only need a little, best night time serum it never leaves my face greasy! That is huge to me. I love all the Algenist products I have tried. Been using since the first time on Q.
Thank you for all the developments of new product. Just ordered collagen and eye products as well as the tint which is another one of my favorites.

I feel bad for those comments here that are negative and I can't understand them! This goes on so smoothly and lightly but has such good coverage. I marvel every time I put it on. Recently, my dermatologist asked if I used sunblock and I had to admit I didn't, until I remembered this product and said 'Yes! I do!" I don't know why they call it 'tinted moisturizer" because it is SO much more...yes, it keeps my face moist all day, it's my foundation (I use nothing over or under it), it covers beautifully, and lasts all day....Try this stuff!

Just Right Coverage
Originally I ordered on auto- delivery, skeptical that I’d love it and would probably cancel before the next shipment. Nope! This is my daily moisturizer now because the tint is just enough coverage for every day “no makeup days” , not heavy like a CC, and it is great under my illumination foundation for when I do wear full face. And the sunscreen protection is fantastic. I recently used it for a tropical vacation- no sunburn and I looked great on the beach. I travel with it for business and will always keep a spare so I don’t run out.

Great Coverage
I love how you can get your sunscreen and makeup done all at the same time. I do wish it went on a little easier but if you remember to put on a face primer, that helps.
