A Note from the Designer

"The genius of both Galileo and Leonardo da Vinci inspired the creation of this piece. Galileo's vision of the universe incorporated the belief that all celestial bodies were spheres. Leonardo studied the mathematical mysteries of the universe and how they affect the existence of life. The fleur-de-lis represents heavenly blessings, and the swords symbolize protection and justice. The free-floating stone in the center signifies Earth and life within the universe."

—Aldo Orta

Exquisite Works Of Art It's difficult to describe just how special these earrings are! The artistry is truly incredible. This is my favorite earring type -- the chain ending in a substantial drop for maximum movement and swing -- and I've had many such pairs in the decades since my ears were pierced. This version is a wonderful combination of style and workmanship. The O-rings are neatly closed, the work on the silver is impeccable, the weight isn't oppressively heavy at all, and the earrings are very ornate but not bizarre. The stone provides a tiny pop of color, and the faceting causes it to glint through its casing just a bit. Fabulous! 09-19-12
CONGRATULATIONS ‘SHARK TANK’ AWARDEE… …Aldo Orta is a jewelry designer I had seen on Shark Tank, and I spotted him of late on QVC. I have been appraising my desire for just the ‘right’ silver dangle earrings, as well as Black Onyx gemstones. On Q’s presentation of Aldo Orta’s designs, the Sphere Dangle Earrings (and the Sphere Enhancer, too) captured my attention -- perfection plus in what I desired with just the right touches of art. The spherical silver-crafting with fleur-de-lis and cross holds a presence with panache, while the encased, faceted black onyx round-gem peeks through. The chain and bead at 1-5/8” is a length I am gratified with as the finely-honed Shepherd’s hooks slip into my earlobes with ease. I love Aldo’s ‘art’ that I’ve perused on Q site, and for these Sphere dangles I give a deserved twenty-star rating. (Now I need to locate a silver or black onyx bead for my second-hole on each earlobe! :-) I admire and respect the poetic words of the designer’s thoughts: “The genius of both Galileo and Leonardo da Vinci inspired the creation of this piece. Galileo's vision of the universe incorporated the belief that all celestial bodies were spheres. Leonardo studied the mathematical mysteries of the universe and how they affect the existence of life. The fleur-de-lis represents heavenly blessings, and the swords symbolize protection and justice. The free-floating stone in the center signifies Earth and life within the universe." --Aldo Orta P.S. Best wishes from me to you, Aldo, for a brilliant future with your brilliant, artistic elegance in designs! 09-09-12
