Rated 4 out of 5 by from Essick Air 7D6 SINGLE ROOM EVAPORATIVE HUMIDIFIER I purchased this after researching all humidifiers and reading reviews. I chose this one. It's good and have enjoyed it but would of loved if it was easier to fill container with water, and had the level of humidity stated with numbers. It cuts off during the night and I don't like that haven't been able to understand why that is. I've read the directions several times and no clue. May be a manufactures defect. Other wise during the day I keep it on when home. I love the fact I can breath easier and with 3 rescue dogs in house it's nice. I fee like the air is fresher and lighter in the rooms I place it. No white residue which is great! I'm not sure I like the construction with having to clean it and place the wick in and put the canister back together. It can be tricky to get all put back together before turning it on!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Slower Than Others; But It's All Good I ordered another humidifier from QVC which quit after 3 days or so. This one keeps on trucking and I'm happy with it. Not so happy that I'm going to have to buy new filters, but I feel so much better, my bloody noses have stopped, and my face doesn't feel so tight. So, filters are a small price to pay.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well but... This humidifier does work really well but filling it is a bit frustrating. The tank is slanted so that you have to hold it awkwardly to fill it. It leaks as soon as you turn it over making a bit of a mess to put it back into the unit. Other than that it seems to be doing the job for me in a 550 sq. ft. room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Breathing better This humidifer works well. I just remove the container and carry it to the sink. I kinda wish they would have designed the top so that it could be placed in the sink while filling it, but it is slanted so you have to at least hold it balanced in order to fill it. The lid is a bit awkward to remove and to get back on. A soft rubberized grip edge would have made it so much better. Other than that, I am still glad I purchased it. It puts so much moisture into the air and I have always preferred the evaporative humidifers. The oones that used to be at the store are gone. I suppose there is some reason they've quit selling them. I've always found them to be the best way to humidify the air in the home and have used them since my children were small.
