I ordered two of these, i liked what it said about them, it doesn't run as long as the said, and only lasted 4 months. which is to much to pay for such a short time, The other one is used only once in a while.

This was the worst product I've bought from qvc. We used it 1 night and had to refill the next day (I'm not sure where the 50 hours comes from). The mist is barely sprained throughout the room. We had to use 2 towels under the unit because so much water and moisture builds up. Even with 2 towels our carpet was still wet. Sent back after using it 3 times! Save your money!

waste of money
I purchased this product in Dec, at first I thought it was great. After using it for a few weeks I noticed it was leaking, after investigating I noticed it cracked around the top where the handle is. It was past 30 days so I called the company since it has a one year warranty. The first time I called they told me they would see if they had a replacement tank and call me back, well needless to say I never got a call back. I called again & was told there was no replacement tanks. They also kept asking about the unit being dropped, if it had been dropped with water in it it would have had more than a crack because I have hardwood floors. I was told to send the unit back & they would send me a new one. I decided I was out of enough money, I wasn't paying to ship it back & then they say they wouldn't replace it since the company didn't seem relible from the start. My husband used epoxy on the crack so we can use it. I would not recommend this product to anyone or any other products made by this company. Air Innovations will not get anymore of my money.

COMMON SENSE REVIEW...
PROS: I purchased this unit for use in the bedroom. I have had it for 3 months and have no complaints about the function of the unit. I do leave it on the minimal output and it works for my 12'X15' room with no leaking or 'white dust' mineral deposits from the tap water.
CONS: It does make gurgling noises as the water level changes and that could be bothersome to those who like only white noise in their sleep environment. I am a light sleeper and it does wake me up at times. I liked the idea of being able to carry the reservoir to the bathroom to fill it, but it will not fit to fill it directly from the sink. You need a deep sink or high faucet. The reservoir is filled from the bottom so because the top is not flat, when you invert it, it will not sit flat on any surface while filling. I fill mine at the bathtub faucet, which is not easy because there are no handles or easy way to hold it while filling it. When it is full and back to being right-side up, it does have a handle to carry it to the unit. But during the filling process, it is awkward and hard to manage. If you don't mind going to the kitchen to fill it, this may not be a problem for you. I discovered black (mold) buildup in the unit and it is very hard to access the small areas that need to be cleaned. They provide a tiny brush (and you will understand why when you see how small the areas are) but the brush cannot get to the underside of some of the components that probably are harboring the mold. I have had it too long to return it now, but because I know how difficult/impossible it is to clean, I would not recommend this to anyone. It is just a poorly designed product.

Just OK
I had to send my first one back because it leaked. The second one is OK. If you turn it up enough to do any good you might get 2-3 nights before you have to fill it up. There's no way you would get 9 nights like the guy says. It is very very dry in Colorado. My doctor recommended that I get one but I'm not sure that it's doing anything. A warm mist humidifier is supposed to be better for you.

Great while it lasted
This worked great through flu season, woke up without a dry nose and throat everyday. However, after only a few months it just stopped working. Going to try to get a replacement, but of course it's been over 30 days. Very disappointing.

Giving Innovations a 2nd Chance my biggest mistake
So I thought that the first one I bought last year was just a lemon. So I bought another one different model! Oh at first it's wonderful, for all of you that have only had it for a short period of time, you will be sorry! It spews white garbage all over everything. It actually put a white film, on the inside of my cabinets and it wasn't even in the same room. My 2K professional camera needs to be cleaned because the white dust is got in my camera, To add insult to injury it just stopped working after only a few months. Garbage products times a million, run like the wind away from Air Innovations products!

Quiet and Easy to Use
I have two ultrasonic humidifiers. This one and one that was twice the price of this unit. I like them both. Given the cost difference, this one is definintely the best value! I use it in my bedroom because it is so quiet. It holds one gallon of water which lasts me for several nights. Originally I used tap water. However, there is a high mineral content in my water; so it it left the 'white powder look on the black housing", plus I had to clean it every week or two. Now I use gallon bottles of distilled water and have not had to clean it for a few months (with nightly use). It's very easy to refill, which I appreciate. Controls are simple and straight forward. And the auto shut-off is a handy feature.

Great for sinus problems
I bought this product over 2 years ago and it is still working. It has helped with my
sinus problems. I have not had an infection since.
Yes mine started leaking a little so I put a pan under it. It then got worse so I crazy
glued all along the bottom rim of the water container and it has not leaked since.
A quick fix that made this product a 5 for me. Hope this helps.

Not worth the money
I purchased this right before Christmas and have been using it everyday since. It does help with breathing easier. You do want to keep it away from wooden surfaces, because the mist will wet them as it is a heavy mist. The big downer is that after using it for almost 3 months it just stopped working. I turned it on at bedtime one night and it went off during the night and never came back on! We cleaned it according to the instructions every week, but still just quit working!!! It is past the 30 days, but I am sending it back anyway and hoping the company will stand behind it's product and replace it. I do like it otherwise.

So far, so good !
Its the end of the season in IL but so far its working good. My last one starting leaking all over, but it lasted a few years.....I hope I get a few years from this one. Both were Air Innovations. Lots of complaints about this product; cant the mfg. fix the leaking issue or at least offer a refund ? Im keeping my fingers crossed, cuz there not cheap !

Leaks Like Crazy! Don't Buy
Leaked all over my floor. Too late to return. Waste of money! Going into the trash.
