Green bag Omg! I love this brand of bags. I am a handbag afficionado with about 100 in my closet. So I know good bags when I see them. This is gorgeous. Got the green, have a few others of hers and love them all. Love you, qvc! 08-16-14
WOW! Great Bag! Plus 1 more way to wear! I ordered this in Black and so far I think I love it! 2 big compartments with organization in each one and I like the light colored lining so you can see everything. The lining is soft but not slippery. It seems durable. The handles are unique and my husband even commented at how cool this bag was for all the different ways to wear it and the cool stingray embossed piping. The hidden side pocket will be good for anything you want to hide, seperate or conceal. I have a CCW and will be modifying this pocket for this very purpose. Perfect spot for sunglasses or girl products too. The outside flap pocket fits most phones, even my Samsung Note3 The only thing I wish it had, which I might take to a Leather expert, is feet. No feet on the bag. Not a deal breaker at all though! It's soft and slouchy when you put your things in it. It feels and looks like a quality bag but without screaming "LOOK AT MY NAME BRAND BAG!!!!" I have many of those: Dooney, Coach, LV, Cythia Rowley, B Makowsky... and guess which one I am loving the most right now... THIS bag. (I will probably add a tassel, scarf or something to it to give it a pop of color though- that's just me.) The black leather is a nice thickness and seems very durable. The shape is a slouchy hobo and it will hold a lot. I could easily put twice as much in it but I wont. The straps are doubles stitched. The inside pockets are reinforced with double stitched and reinforced stitched at the ends and are leather trimmed for durability. They don't gap open which is quality! The zippers are soooo nice. They glide like silk and the hardware and pull are so modern and sleek. The stingray trim is a soft embossed leather with a soft sparkle- it accents the bag nicely. I tried all the different ways to wear and they all are very cool. No complaints on my 5"4 frame. The cross-body is a bit high but that was shown in the video- look at Aimee and see how it sits close to her body on her waist and not on her hip. As a cross-body it will not be on the hip which is fine for me. That is actually better for my neck and back and yes, you can turn it to your back as well. Another way to wear the bag is to pull the straps up like you are going to make the backpack but just wear it as a sling bag over your shoulder. I used to have a bag that was built like that in the 90's and loved it. Great new way to wear it if you hadn't already figured it out. Great design- I'd love a red one and a yellow one...snakeskin or cheetah print would rock too! If you want a quality bag that is unique and soft and functional, big enough to carry everything you need and more with great functionality- this is it. I'm going back for the distressed metallic today. So yeah- LOVE! 08-15-14
Coolest Bag Ever!! I got this one in the black. The leather is strong, soft and a great thickness. There is so much more room to it than it looks like it would have...it's straight up a tote bag with a medium-sized-bag look. I put my organizer insert full of stuff on one side and there is still a whole second section that can fit tons more items! Now, I will say that as a backpack, I find it to be too heavy. Took it to the zoo and couldn't carry it for long that way because my back started aching. Once I put it back on my shoulder, however, I walked for hours with no issues. My husband doesn't comment on my bags often but as we were sitting at breakfast and I went to get something out of my bag he said he really liked it. I asked him why and he said it's different and he likes the handles on the side. This is HUGE coming from him; he's an artist who loves color, so for him to compliment a BLACK bag says volumes about how cool and NOT BASIC this bag is! 08-10-14
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE I love the idea where you can carry 5 different ways! It's a big bag which I absolutely love, but so light weight! The leather quality is to die for! You won't know until you touch it. So soft and supple! What else can I say? Just PERFECT! LOVE THIS BAG!!!!!!! 07-21-14
GREAT BAG BUT NOT FOR EVERYONE Got this bag in two colors. Green, which is my favorite color, and also in the metallic. I love both. The metallic could go pretty much with most metals. It looks a little gunmetal, a little silver, and you can also see some rose gold. I love being able to carry it multiple ways. Extremely light before packing it with all my stuff. Unless you ordered this before seeing the presentation, you have to have seen that it would definitely stick out in the back. Don't understand people that watch the presentations and then complain about the items when you can clearly see it is not a flat backpack. Aimee, I love your idea and I am enjoying the bags. Like I said, it is a great bag but not for everyone. You should definitely make another backpack style. They are really popular again and maybe if you made one that laid flat on your back, it would meet the needs of those who commute and go on public transportation. 12-09-13
My thoughts on Aimee's Convertible Hobo First, let me start off by saying I absolutely love the versatility of this bag! I've never seen anything like it. I like having so many options with carrying it. The handles for the tote are sturdy yet soft. When worn as a crossbody, it's more of a "high" crossbody - I'm 5'4" with a long torso and it hits a couple of itches above my hips. It does stick out a bit when worn as a backpack. I actually push out all of the air so it flattens somewhat. I wouldn't use it as a backpack regularly but again, nice to have the option available. The outside flap pocket is nice and deep, though the flap seems a little thin. Normally I'm not crazy about vertical zip pockets because things tend to fall out easily but this pocket is deep as well so I can't see that happening. I love having 2 main compartments - great for organization - and so deep! I got it in the gunmetal. I'm not really a metallic kind of girl but I got the impression from presentations that it's more of a toned-down metallic. Still, it may be too much for me, not sure yet. Also, I don't know if it's just because it's metallic leather, it just doesn't seem too durable. Kind of thin. I don't know if the black or green leather would be the same. I'm sure the leather has to be somewhat thin because of being versatile. It also collapses in on itself (and that's with not a lot of things in it). I'm not sure I'm going to keep it, I may exchange it for another color. I wish there were more color options - I'm not a big fan of black or green - but I still so love the versatility! I will say this bag just doesn't seem to have the quality of some of Aimee's other bags (trust me, I have many!). The leather certainly isn't worth the price (because of being metallic?). Honestly, I wouldn't mind the price because of the versatility, but it will get a lot of use because of that reason so it would need to be able to hold up. 11-07-13
Great bag, but not a cross body w/o my adjustments Love the shade of green and all the versatility of this bag. It does not lie against the body when used as a back pack so not good for that usage. The straps are about 6 inches short of making this a cross body for me, and I'm just 5'4". I have a lanyard style necklace that is heavy duty and adjustable that I use in order to make a cross body work for the bag. I attach it to the straps and loop it through the existing belt loops on the bag. Aimee, this is my third bag (I have the convertible messenger in black and in white) and you got me addicted to cross bodies! Can you please make a tassel with a strap, or some other type of strap we can attach to add about 6 inches to the straps? Then it could be a decoration when not used as a cross body strap extender! 11-04-13
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! This bag is absolutely fabulous! I love that there are so many options to wear even though I probably wouldn't use some of them. I bought this in black and the pop of stingray gives it a lil something special! I will use this for many, many years! Thanks Aimee!! P.S. Please bring more colors :> 10-31-13
Too heavy and not very functional! This bag will be going back to QVC. I purchased this hobo bag before any reviews were posted. I agree with the other reviewer that leather is nice and soft. The designer (or it could have been the host) claimed this bag was light but it is very heavy and non-functional. The slip and zip pockets are way too small, almost useless. Very disappointed... 10-29-13
Useless hands free I was very excited to get this bag. The one nice thing is the leather is good. The straps are a problem. The backpack isn't useful and the straps are not long enough for a real cross body bag. If you want a shoulder bag you probably will like it but it is not functional for hands free. 10-28-13
Oh No Aimee! So sorry. I love your concepts and loved the green of this bag. But a backpack that sticks out about a foot in the back. No Way! I live in NYC and London and no way can I wear this on the subway and tube. Also the detachable straps should hook together to make a real long cross body on we tall gals. Or be paired for shorted gals. So, sadly sending this back. Please revisit it and make longer straps and a closer to the back backpack. Also the box from QVC was too big for the bag and came completely squashed making the return difficult. 10-22-13
