Agave Vapor Styling Iron with Vapor Infusion Duo
Not worth It
I've never spent this much money on a flat iron, but thought the oil infusion would be nice for my hair. The on/off button is located between the blades and difficult to use. The heat dial is also located between the blades and difficult to use and read. The oil container is tinted and you can't see if it needs more oil unless you put it up to a light. The oil bottles are terrible to open and it made no difference to my hair. Going back to my reasonably priced flat iron that does the job 100% better.
I have owned many hair straighners over the years and this is by far the best! Eventhough it does not heat up to 450 degrees like my other hair straightner, it does the job better! I have straighter shiny hair! One thing I was a little concerned about was how the Agave Oil has more of a texture as water than oil. Also, it definetly does not have vapor coming from the plates as shown in the picture thats quite an exageration. But over all I like this product even if I use it without the Agave oil.
Really Great for Dry Hair
I was really surprised when I used this iron. My colored hair was so smooth and shiny! Much better than my $100+ Chi. It's as easy to use as any iron I've had, heats pretty quickly, and straightens my kinda frizzy hair in one pass.
BEST Flatiron EVER
My hair is colored and really dry & this system has astounded me with how beautiful my hair is once again. Straight and conditioned, frizz-free & tangle free! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!
agave vapor flat iron
Love this product! It gave my hair shine and bounce! And best of all my hair did not look damaged or dry.
I found this product through an article on Refinery29 which gave it a positive review. I then watched the video and decided to try it myself.
I'm so happy I did because I absolutely love this product.
I'm mixed (African-American and Caucasian) and have naturally course curly hair. I've tried several expensive irons and this one by far turns my curls into straight, shiny locks that looks healthy. Not to mention it takes about 1/2 the time of any other irons.
I'm still trying to figure out the vapor aspect, as I don't usually it every time I straighten it. But I love the iron aspect of this product and have noticed such a difference.
No no no!!!
Iam a hairstylish fo sixteen years l used this iron in color highlighted straight hair thinking the oil will be deposited moisture and shine to my hair and the only thing l found was very oily hair.l used in medium curly hair too anh l was the same results oily hair even if l followed the instructions not good at all, ,,,, very disappointed! !!!
A good iron
I just used this today and only one time. I have long, thick, coarse hair. I use flat irons to curl my hair, not straighten. I have an FHI iron, and I like it,but it left my hair dry and crispy after curling even though I only use it twice a week. The Agave iron interested me because I hoped it would infuse moisture into my hair when using it. I already use the Agave styling oil and it is amazing.
The iron worked well. It is a little bigger than most irons. The plates are wider than the traditional inch. I used it on the highest setting and did not have the burned hair smell that I usually get with my FHI. However, it does get very hot and found it difficult to hold where I normally grip my iron because the plates were so hot. I will have to get used to adjusting my grip. It curled my hair well, but as the day has gone on, I've noticed that the curls are not holding up as long. With my FHI, the curls would stay for days until I washed my hair.
My hair is softer and shinier after using the Agave iron. It doesn't smell, feel, or look damaged like it does with my FHI after styling. I will have to use it a few more times before I decide whether to keep it. So far, the pros outweigh the cons.
