Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rusty Screws Bought these umbrellas June 2017. We used 1 of the umbrella's last summer. Used it until we closed our pool in October. Got it out for this year, the under side of umbrella had rust streaks! Screws used to hold the frame together are some type of metal, not stainless steel or aluminum. This problem needs to be fixed. Rust will not come out of material.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice umbrella - poor material quality We liked the umbrellas [purchased 4]. But the stripped umbrellas have a white fiberglass pockets for the umbrella ribs that degrade in the sun over time. Only lasted 1 summer. The pockets turned to white itchy powder. Switching to the solid covers which have black pockets and hope they last longer. Called the company and was blown off. Clearly a material design defect, but their solution was to buy new canopies at $40 each! Not going to happen. My recommendation if you buy the product, is to not leave it out in the sun when you are not using it. Does not seem to have any UV protection in the material. I am surprised that QVC is still selling the product. Not quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TOTALLY FADED I watched the presentation on this and decided it would be nice addition to my patio area which already has a pergola but I wanted it for another area of the patio to provide shade. The person presenting said it would NOT FADE. I got the terra cotta color. Well, it FADED in no time at all. So, the underside is still the nice vibrant color and the sun side is totally faded out. Very sorry I purchased this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fadee much!?!?! Worst investment of my life. I bought them, but didn’t want to put them out till I was sure the rains had stopped. Which was roughly 2 months later. 1. The base lost the plastic/rubber ring within 5 minutes 2. Even with the filler, i was never able to create a tight fit 3. I live in Los Angeles, not known for being windy, darn thing blew over with the slightest breeze, nearly knocking out, more than a couple, of small children, and elderly. 4. Being covered when not in use did not keep it from fading within TWO WEEKS!!! I couldn’t even return, since it had been over two months, and I just lost hope. Will NEVER buy an item like this again, from QVC

Rated 3 out of 5 by from umbrella great..stand terrible I bought the stand they were selling with the umbrella....if you put the umbrella in the tilt mode...the slightest breeze knocks it over...stand was a waste of money
