Leaks badly. This item is a great idea - it was just what I was looking for - but leaks so badly that it would cost a fortune in water bills for the summer. It connects to the outdoor faucet and you have to leave it turned on all the time. I even tried putting a washer inside the connector but it did not solve the problem. Also, it was a little expensive for a six-foot piece of hose, a couple of connectors, and a plastic spike. 07-12-10

plastic hose fittings leak When the product was hooked up the plastic hose fittings leaked - they could not take the pressure when the hose was on and the product valve was shut off. 07-11-10
