Ring looks fab on TV or computer. In reality, my stone is gray - you can only see blue parts in the DIRECT sunlight. The shank is lovely but soft - it bends easily. I noticed the strands are held together by 1 complete (thin) ring of gold & the braided ones are glued on top of it. The ring looks great on my finger, but it's soft & has a less than stellar stone color. With that said, it's not a bad buy - just a lot of cash for a piece that really doesn't cost that much to make. This is a piece to wear for dress only & not for everyday due to the softness.
Size was true & fit perfectly.

This is the second time I order this ring in the hopes that I would get a not too dark stone. This second time I ordered it, the stone is almost black. I hate to return it for an exchange and take another chance at getting a lighter colored stone as the shipping charges keep adding up. I will most definitely keep it even if it's dark, but I'm debating whether to make one last attempt at getting a "blue" stone as compared to the almost black stone I have now. I'm also considering ordering this ring in the fire opal and the tanzanite, as I love this ring so much.

I was looking forward to receiving this item. Fair Warning: the stone (labradorite) is beautiful but small. However he band actually bends in my fingers. I couldn't believe it. This would definitely NOT stand up to Antonella's pinch test and the band is so soft and flimsy it resembles molding clay. Definitely has to go back and my search continues.

I had carefully read all the reviews and was really apprehensive to order this. But, it was everything I had been searching for. I figured "I can always send it back!" Well, when it arrived I was thrilled beyond words after carefully examing every millimetre of it! The light just dances through this stone....it is just beautiful! Thank you!!!!!

This "HOLLOW" Byzantine ring its a poor design idea. I received the Labradorite ring and unfortunately it's going back. The ring was already bend when I got it . If they would to make this ring solid I'll be the first to buy it. It's a gorgeous ring, but paying almost $400.00 for a ring that's going to bend or to delicate and I mean delicate its not worth the investment.

This ring looked stunning when it was shown on the TV presentation. The labradorite stone had unbelievable blue flash and labradorescence. I already had the turquoise byzantine ring so I knew what to expect in this ring with this different stone. I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the box. The stone was black -- no flash, no colors, just the ugliest labradorite stone ever. I have other labradorite pieces so I know what labradorite is supposed to look like. Adding to the ugliness, the gold byzantine ring was "out of round" -- totally out of shape. How did this ring pass quality assurance? I would give this no stars if I could. Buyers beware!

I liked the stone but the east west design was not flattering on my short fingers. Also I did not find the back of the ring comfortable when you close your fingers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Britomart Stone is DARK and has no fire or color
This may be the worst quality labradorite I've ever seen in a piece of jewelry. It is dark and has no sparkle, fire, or color. This cannot possibly be premium grade labradorite. Absolutely not worth the price. Also, the Byzantine setting is very big and clunky, uncomfortable between the fingers. I don't recommend it.
