Perfect, Pretty, and Delightful!!!
Love this jar!!! Purchased for decorating during Christmas holidays, and finding it is versatile for anytime of the year. It is so easy to work with making little scenes and filling with anything due to the nice width of this jar, and the shape is eye-catching. Thank you Valerie and QVC for offering this item!!!

Nice but some problems
I bought a clear one and a mercury glass one. They are a nice size. My clear one had 2 giant obvious air bubbles, but overall nice so I'm keeping it. My mercury glass one was dusty, so I rinsed it out and when I dried it with a towel almost all of the mercury glass came off the inside of the lid in sheets, almost like foil pieces. So the lid was ruined and I had to send it back. Beware the mercury foil will probably come off it you get it wet and use a towel to dry it! Too bad because the mercury jar was beautiful. The clear one is fine if you don't mind air bubbles that are visible.

Perfect Chubbiness
I bought this (in the mercury glass finish) along with the 18 inch mercury glass apothecary jar, to go with the similar in design mercury glass apothecary jars Valerie had a few years ago. This substantial chubster did not disappoint. It is currently on my dining room table, with the others, all holding flameless candles (on timers). When I get home at night and see them twinkling away? Well, it is a wonderful "welcome home" after a very long day at work! I am ordering one in the clear version to hold soaps in my powder room and three of the clear 18 inch ones to hold pasta and dried beans in the kitchen. As to the imperfections some reviewers mention, they add more of a handmade, artisan quality. I would rather have some (minor) imperfections than have something that looks as if it was stamped out by a machine. Good job, Valerie, keep bringing us beautiful accessories for our homes!

Very nice for all sorts of things!
I bought this to hold cotton balls for my bathroom, but it was a little big..that's okay :) I will just get more cotton!
Very nicely made, just right in the heaviness. Could be used for decorative items too...would also make a great terrarium!

CUTE, CHUBBY, AND SO VERSATILE!
My jar also has a few air bubbles. One of them is noticeable on the lid but I don't mind. Like the other reviewer mentioned, nothing is perfect. This suits my needs just fine. It reminds me of a big, chubby ornament. I adore it ! It is so versatile and will be used year round in different ways. Thanks so much, Valerie and QVC!

Pretty but Not Perfect
I love the jar -- but as the other reviewers mentioned, there are some "minor" imperfections. In my particular jar, there are perhaps 4 very small air bubbles in the glass - but you'd really have to look for them. I only looked for them because the other two reviewers had made comments. Is it a testament to the quality of the product -- well yes -- there shouldn't be the bubbles. BUT, I thought about the purpose for which I bought the jar which is to fill with ornaments and the battery operated lights from Bethlehem Lights and truth be told, you'll never see the bubbles. Is it worth the hassle of returning the item? Not in my opinion. I do like the jar and will use it -- heck I'm not perfect either!

Disappointed
Love the shape and size; however, there are several flaws in the glass (lid & Jar). Too many air bubbles and not up to par. This is not the quality I expected.

Received a defective product
I was excited to see this on air but the quality was terrible. There was a black spot in the glass on the lid and air bubbles all over the jar. I have several of Valerie's products and this is not her quality.
