Rated 5 out of 5 by Great addition for the Southern cookbook collector I love a good cookbook especially when it includes stories and photos in addition to really great Southern food (like the chicken and dumplings!) My daughter is a fan of Little Big Town and will definitely love this one for her collection. 07-14-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST COOKBOOK EVER this cookbook has great things in it, worth the money 07-01-15
Rated 1 out of 5 by A waste of money I never heard of this author, but she certainly has an enormous ego. Fewer than 50% of the recipes include photograhs. Of the dish, that is. There are dozens and dozens of pictures of the author, her daughter, her husband, her other family, her flowers, etc, but mostly of just her. I'm sending the book back. 06-13-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by I Agree I have to agree with the writer who said it was about the author. I really didn't get much out of the cookbook as far as new recipes go. If you are a fan then you will enjoy the stories. Frankly that is not why I buy cookbooks. 06-05-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by great purchase Love the results and the ease of using it and easy to clean 05-24-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best cookbook ever! This is the best cookbook ever. This is the way my mother always cooked so the recipes are very similar to her cooking. Since my mother never wrote anything down this has brought back a lot of familiar dinners. Thank you very much for the memories. 05-22-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this Cookbook!!!! This cookbook is very nice and you can tell that the person writing this book has a close family. The recipes tell you the same. Its got my vote! 05-22-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by RECIPES PRINTED TOO SMALL. I liked 80% of the recipes. They were very Southern and wonderfully simple. The overall quality of the print and paper could have been much better. I will enjoy and look forward to cooking and eating these dishes, so I will over look the short comings. 05-21-15
Rated 2 out of 5 by Very Disappointed This is a book about the author. Many of the recipes are in loads of other cookbooks. It's a waste of my money. 05-14-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely I have 100's of cookbooks. This one is just lovely & one of my favorites. Simple to follow, easy recipes, using simple, easy to find ingredients. And the photography! Just lovely! I said that already, huh? 05-12-15
