LOVE THIS BOOK I'm a diabetic and I love the recipes in this book. I do menu planning and there is at least 3 recipes per week that I make out of this book - my family's favorite is the French Onion Chicken. I would recommend anyone who is diabetic or watching their weight to GET THIS BOOK!!! 07-21-14
Absolutely LOVE!!!!!! I absolutely LOVE this cookbook! My hubby has enjoyed all of the recipes I've tried thus far. Each recipe lists the nutritional information of the original and reconfigured recipes, therefore I feel like we are eating much better! 07-21-14
YUMMY! I have been in the process of losing weight and when it comes to meal time, I am pretty good at trying different things to see how they would come out when fat, calories etc... are altered. This book takes the guess work out of all that. Marlene did for you and the recipes are easy, fast and no brainers and most importantly HEALTHY!! Although you would never know it! 07-15-14
YUMMY! i have tried at least 20 of the recipes in this book and they are all so tasty! this woman knows how to make things taste terrific without all the stuff thats not good for you! i highly recommend anyone watching their weight, their salt or fat intake to try this book. you will not regret the purchase. 06-27-14
Loving it! I have tried 3 recipes from this book, Apple Poppy Seed Slaw , Pasta with Chicken and Pomodoro Sauce, and Better than Shake and Bake Pork Chops. All of these were wonderful! I have already gone through the book (while waiting in the Dr. office) and tabbed several more that I will try out. I am a WW member and watching my blood sugar, right now around 100, so this book makes it helpful. Love the idea that the ingredients are easily found at the local market, not driving to specialty stores! I am a "foodie"' and love to cook. I am always watching the cooking channels and ITKWD! 06-23-14
Just the best. I have both of Marlene's other books and my daughter and husband love anything from these three books. I do WeightWatchers and my daughter is diabetic so these books are perfect for us. A really good variety of recipes. 06-23-14
DISAPPOINTED Because I, too, thought the food looked great and David said so. I was looking forward to receiving this book but disappointed when I sat down to read the recipes. I have not cooked any of the recipes because they contain so many ingredients that I don't stock in my pantry. So I'm not sure if I will be making anything from the book. I guess I'm just a simple (and lazy) girl. 06-17-14
Love This Series! Absolutely love Marlene's cookbooks and this one is a winner too! Eat What You Love Everyday is filled with recipes for a family or for couples. I have had a couple of questions and I emailed Marlene and she answered me right back! Her website is a great place to find helpful information too. Love this recipe book!!! If you are looking for a no nonsense recipe book then give this a try. This book is filled with wonderful meal ideas and desserts. Easy and tasty recipes and all made from "normal" ingredients that can be found in any grocery store. Healthy meal ideas to make for the entire family. All recipes have nutritional information per serving which helps me keep track of portion sizes. The dessert recipes are excellent and have a healthy twist. 200 recipes to choose from and are low in sugar, fat and calories. There is so much useful information packed into this book. 06-13-14
This book Excites Me! I just received my cookbook and usually I don't write a review until after I have fully checked my product out and used it. However being a Stevia lover and reading Marlene's segment on Stevia I automatically got excited. I have used Stevia for a few years now. It is a NATURAL plant that is nice and sweet without the calories of sugar. I am not a fan of artificial sweeteners. Stevia is once again natural and is not made of chemicals and will not harm you. I felt the need to talk about Stevia due to some of the reviews over the artificial sweeteners. Stevia is not artificial. I actually have a few plants which leaves are awesome in tea. I order my powder and liquid Stevia from Amazon. I am also pumped about the weight watchers points being calculated. It saves me a ton of time figuring points. The recipes have ingredients that you have already and that are not hard to find. I have not found one in this book that I am not excited about trying. The portions are also very large especially if you have been used to regular portions already. It seems you are getting a ton of food which will be great for my son. I cannot express how excited I am to start using this book and will order more of these. I found something me and my teens can eat without the weight gain and that is good wholesome food that we enjoy. Thank you so very much for writing this book.
