Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pink diamonds are RARE--this is a good opportunity This dainty ring is pretty. I got white gold because I like how it makes the color of the stone stand out without interference from the color of yellow gold. Since QVC cannot provide the GIA certificate to us (legal dept. said “no”) I asked an acquaintance, who is a long-time jeweler, for an honest opinion. Using good lighting and a magnifier, he noted the following: .25ct appears to be correct for the pink diamond although hard to tell with the white diamonds because of their size. The white diamonds are mostly clear but a few are milky. The pink diamond is “deepish purple with flashes of pink and a little red”, clarity on mine is about SI1 and eye clean, standard brilliant cut, most likely radiated to bring out the color. He also noted there were no signs of brown–I specifically asked about that because brown is so common in pink diamonds and reduces their value. He felt the price paid (“as is” price), is fair. Personal opinion here: I’ve wanted a pink diamond for years and have long been researching colored diamonds... Just an fyi: The diamond mine that produces about 90% of the worlds pink diamonds (Argyle mine in Australia) will likely close within the next 5 years–they are simply becoming tapped out. When that happens the value and cost of pink diamonds will probably skyrocket just like yellow diamonds did after the Ellendale mine shut down last year. Ellendale produced about 45% of the worlds yellow diamonds. When they shut down, the cost of yellow diamonds about doubled. I suspect the same thing will happen with pink diamonds... The current value of the pink diamond alone makes this ring worth the price. I’m keeping it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Pink Diamond Ring I really don't like to buy "as is" products but I felt I couldn't pass up this ring and I'm glad I didn't! This ring is beautiful and the pink diamond is gorgeous. The white diamonds are really clear and sparkling too. I took this to my jeweler and he said this ring was certainly a find and worth a lot more than what I paid. The ring was flawless, no problems. Glad I took the chance before this ring is gone for good.
